Lessons Learned Along the Way
Not everything we learn in Vacation Bible School will stand the passing of time. Life has a way of testing us, pushing us past the easy answers of childhood days. Along the way, we may have to reconsider long-held beliefs and rebuild our theology based on lived experience and fresh perspectives. In this course Drew shares his journey and the way our faith must be refined as we grow towards spiritual maturity.
If you would like to take this class, just send along your name and email to Drew and you’ll receive a confirmation and the Zoom link. We’ll begin on Tuesday, April 21, 7:00 pm. There is no cost for this course though various books and resources may be recommended for those interested in further study.
Introducing your guide
Welcome to the journey! I’m always excited to meet new friends and make new connections. I’m sure we can learn from each other and gain some insights and perspectives for the road ahead.
Just so you know, I’ve been around and I’ve been to school and I’ve crossed the tracks more than a few times myself. Change doesn’t always come easy, and transitions in life can be painful, but I guess that’s how we grow and become the people we are meant to be.
Might as well tell you up front. I don’t have all the answers and you can always feel free to disagree. I’m not much into uniformity and I don’t think God is either. But hopefully we’ll all wise up as we compare notes together.
